Family Statements

Family statements will be sent home with students today for those families with outstanding charges on their account.  Payment of outstanding charges would be appreciated as soon as possible.  Outstanding charges do not include upcoming events that have a future due date, they are charges for past events/uniform purchased from the school or those events currently in progress such as Kitchen Garden which have not yet been paid.

Please check with your child for any correspondence sent home.

State Schools' Relief - Prep 2025 Summer CSEF Uniform Package

Applications for the Prep 2025 Summer CSEF Uniform Package are now open.  In order for a student to be eligible to receive the Prep 2025 Summer Uniform Package the student must be a Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF) recipient. School Saving Bonus

In Term 4, 2024, families with a child enrolled in a government school from Prep to Year 12 in 2025 will receive the one-off $400 School Saving Bonus.

The $400 School Saving Bonus provides families with support for education-related costs, such as school activities and/or school uniforms and textbooks.

The School Saving Bonus is not available for full-fee international students, home schooled students, TAFE students and students attending kindergarten in 2025.   

Actions for parents and carers

Before 18 October 2024, the Department of Education is asking parents and carers to:

• Complete enrolment: If your child, or children are changing government school for Term 1 2025, or starting Prep or Year 7 in 2025. For more information, read about Enrolling in School. 
• Check your contact information: Ensure your email address and phone number is up to date with us. You can check this information by contacting us directly.

We need to ensure your contact information is up to date as the Department of Education will email you twice:

• in October, to verify your email address
• in November, with your $400 School Saving Bonus.

Please check your junk mail regularly to make sure you do not miss an important email.

2025 Enrolments

Planning is underway for 2025.  It would be helpful if families could let the school know of any plans they may have with regards to students not returning to Lancefield PS in 2025 (students in year levels other than 6) eg. Moving from the area, going to Braemar in year 5 etc. Please advise the school by sending an email to the school email: lancefield.ps@education.vic.gov.au

Lunch Order Wallets - Bakery Lunch Orders

Re-usable lunch order wallets are available from Stickybeaks Reusable Lunch Order Bags | Stickybeaks.  Wallets are $12.50 each, insulated wallets $14.50 and can be ordered by families direct from the supplier.

The wallets reduce the amount of waste from lunch orders as they eliminate the need for single use paper bags, envelopes and zip lock bags.
