McClelland Music Mid-Year Concert 2025
A packed house, unforgettable performances, and a community united by music!
The McClelland College Music Department Mid-Year Concert was nothing short of amazing! It truly was a showcase of dedication, growth, and sheer talent from our McClelland music students. From the very first cowbell hit in the Percussion Ensemble to the final timpani roll in Concert Band, our students gave it everything!
The PAC was packed, the energy was electric, and the sense of community was undeniable. Our student MCs, Gus Walker, Chelsea Vriesen, and Skye Aspromonte guided us through the evening with wit, charm, and perfect comedic timing. The evening would not have been possible without our dedicated staff: Mr Budd, Mr Pearce, Mr Chilver, Ms Cleland, Ms Starr, Ms Shen, and Mr Warwick. Their tireless work, patience, and passion for music education inspire our students to achieve beyond expectation.
We had performances from all ensembles in the department, each representing all of the myriad of instruments that we offer. Voice, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone, Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Percussion, Guitar, Bass Guitar and Piano.
