Enrolments

If you know any family, friend, or relative who is looking to enrol their child into our school, please feel free to forward this information on. We are so excited to welcome new families into our school community.

Enrolment is a little different for Years 1–6, as you can simply send us the required documents and we will be able to enrol your child directly.

At the moment, we are not at full capacity, which means we are able to accept out‑of‑zone enrolments. Families do not need to move into our zone — we can accept their enrolment and their child can begin at a time that suits them.

Once we reach full capacity, we will only be able to accept in‑zone and sibling enrolments. To check your designated school, please visit www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au, enter your home address, and the website will show your local school. Families must be zoned to Highvale Primary School for us to enrol them once we reach capacity.

If you are wanting to start during this year, we can arrange a date and time for you to visit the school, try on uniforms, and purchase what you need so your child is ready to begin on their chosen start date.

If you are looking to start on the first day of next year, we will be holding a whole‑school transition day on Tuesday 8th December. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the teachers, get to know other students, and experience our school environment. Transition also allows teachers to learn about each child’s abilities, strengths, talents, and areas where support may be needed. Having this information before the school year begins helps us plan effectively and strengthens the partnership between home and school.

On this transition day, there will also be an opportunity to purchase uniforms from our school uniform shop so students are ready for Day One on Thursday 28th January 2027.

How to Apply

As mentioned earlier, we have included the enrolment form, enrolment checklist, and supporting documents. All documents listed must be provided to complete your child’s enrolment. You can send these documents via email.
