Faith Matters
at St Francis Xavier Catholic Primary School
Dear St Francis Xavier Families,
It was wonderful to host many special visitors on our Mothers' Day Morning last week. Thank you so much to those of you who were able to adjust your usual schedules to come along and spend time with the children and one another. If you weren't able to attend I hope you still received the small item made by your child at school and that everyone had a wonderful Mothers' Day weekend.

WORLD LABYRINTH DAY
Friday, May 1st was World Labyrinth Day in Schools. Our students and staff have a knowledge and understanding of using labyrinths for a variety of different purposes including prayer, meditation, reflection, recording thoughts and ideas and as a calming tool. Our friend Mr Ange kindly created a labyrinth in the Red Centre for us to use over the next few weeks.
I had the opportunity to work with some of the Year 3/4 students who participated in a labyrinth walk for peace.

WHOLE SCHOOL PRAYER
Our next Whole School Prayer will be during Reconciliation Week on Tuesday, 26th May at 8:45am. It will be in the Red Centre and led by our student Fire Carriers.
