BUS Information

Students are reminded of the importance of tapping on and tapping off the bus with their Opal card every time they travel.

Tapping on and off helps Transport for NSW accurately track student travel, ensures students are travelling under the correct entitlement, and provides important data that supports the continuation of bus services in our area. It also assists in identifying students in the event of an emergency.

We would also like to remind students of expected bus safety behaviours:

• Speak respectfully to the driver and other passengers.

• Follow all directions given by the driver.

• Keep hands, feet and objects inside the bus at all times.

• Avoid distracting the driver while the bus is in motion.

   

By tapping on and off and following safe travel practices, students help ensure that bus journeys are safe, efficient and enjoyable for everyone.
