Y10: City Experience Tour

Year 10 students recently had their most anticipated excursion of the year: The Year 10 City Experience Tour!

This excursion promised to be a day of exploration, learning and fun - and with the right preparation beforehand, it proved to be just that.

Students spent the weeks before the excursion researching and planning a day around the city, visiting Islamic organisations, educational institutions, recreational and heritage sites, and immersing themselves in historic and modern art, before winding down with some time for lunch at their chosen eateries. 

The excursion aimed to teach students about our city, whilst developing their sense of independence, their time management skills, and their confidence using various modes of transport to get around the city.

It was a day enjoyed by all, with great friends, and memories that will be cherished for years to come.
