2024 Japanese Speech Contest
Each year the Frankston Susono Friendship Association holds an annual Japanese Speech Contest for primary and secondary school students in the Frankston Region.
DATE: Friday 6 September 2024
TIME: 7.00pm
VENUE: Lecture Theatre F101, Monash University, Peninsula Campus
An invitation is extended to students to participate in the 2024 Speech Contest.
The first meeting will be in the library at 1.00pm on Tuesday 30 July.
CONTEST RULES AND INFORMATION:
The Rules and Contest Code of Conduct and speech details will be handed out at the first meeting in the library or can be emailed to you if you want to make a start.
The story you will be telling this year is called, “The Rolling Rice-ball”.
Entries decided by MIDDAY, Friday 16 August 2024
ENTRY FEE:
The entry fee is $5 per contestant and the school will cover it for you.
PRIZES:
- All participants will receive a certificate and small gift
- Prizes will also be awarded for first, second and third places in each division (subject to numbers)
- PERPETUAL TROPHIES will also be presented for display at the student’s school
