ALUMNI News
Matisse Knight, a proud Wiradjuri woman and Frankston High School 2020 alum will address an assembly being held to mark NAIDOC Week.
In the short time since she has finished school, Matisse has worked her way from Melbourne Theatre Company Deadly Creative participant (Formerly known as the First Peoples Young Artist Program) to Subscriptions Officer to Box Office Attendant to becoming their Marketing and Communications Coordinator. She has worked on a diverse array of creative projects and campaigns in these roles. Matisse also volunteers her time with Lord Somers Camp and Powerhouse, as the Chair of the Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group.
From there, we have alumni lined up to visit from a range of industries and with vastly differing areas of expertise – these include the sciences, law, construction, politics, hospitality, media, engineering, IT, robotics, finance and more.
These alumni will no doubt serve as inspirational, relatable career role models for current students looking to make decisions about their future careers.

ABOUT THE ALUMNI PROGRAM
Our School is a not-for-profit service, and the only service in Australia devoted solely to helping public high schools build supportive alumni communities. Why? Because alumni can be inspirational, relatable career role models for current students. To learn more about OurSchool, go to ourschool.net.au
Alumni can give back to their old school in so many ways that benefit current students; either via inspirational career pathway advice, industry insights, post Year 12 study insights, study tips and techniques, work experience opportunities, donations to assist with school programs and more. The opportunities for involvement are endless.
