1/2LT

Maths

We have had fun learning about 2D shapes. We have taken our learning outside to hunt for different shapes as well as get creative using shapes to make different pictures. 

Literacy 

This term, 1/2LT is reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This story has inspired the children to invent their own magical chocolate creations, some of which turn you invisible or make you fly!

The children have also been hard at work this week writing and publishing their own stories, which they look forward to sharing with you at the upcoming showcase at the end of the term. 

Swimming

This week the 1/2s have been hard at work in the swimming pool. The children were full of excitement and nerves, and had a lot of fun growing in their skills in the pool. 

Student Progress Meetings

Thank you to all parents who have booked meetings so far. We look forward to discussing your child's progress with you next week. 

Star of the Week

Last week we enjoyed learning more about Joshua. He shared with us his love of the arts. He shared photos of his recent performance with Stage Schools Australia, as well as a painting he had done and some cats he had constructed. He also showed us his new camera.
