PIAF Liturgical Dance 

On Monday 4 August Saint Helena's Year 3-6 Liturgical Dancers performed at St Brigid's Chapel, at Mercy College, as part of the 2025 Catholic Performing Arts Festival.

Our dance was set to the powerful anthem Pilgrims of Hope by Andrew Chin and Drew Lane, which was inspired by the theme of Jubilee 2025, a sacred time of grace and spiritual revival proclaimed by Pope Francis.

The music was chosen for its uplifting message and its call to walk together as people of faith, united in love and mission. Just as pilgrims travel with purpose toward a holy destination, the dance symbolised our collective pilgrimage — through life, through challenges, and toward the light of Christ.

Each movement reflected the rhythm of the pilgrim’s path: moments of stillness, steps of faith, and gestures of praise.
