Italian Week

As part of Italian Week lunchtime was filled with Italian-themed fun, from tombola in the library to lively Italian card games with Mr G, and spirited matches of bocce on the lawn.
Luckily, the weather was on our side, and students made the most of the sunshine as they played and cheered each other on.
Our school came together last Thursday for a vibrant Italian Assembly. Year 5 students opened the event with the Hail Mary (Ave Maria) in Italian, setting a respectful and heartfelt tone.
This was followed by Years 1–4 filling the undercover area with beautiful Italian songs that had everyone smiling. The Year 6 students, kept the audience engaged as our fantastic comperes, introducing the performance with confidence and charm.
A special congratulations goes to the students who performed a skit in Italian—their lively performance was both engaging and entertaining, bringing plenty of laughter and applause.
Congratulations to the winners of the Italian drawing competition for the Year 4 to Year 6 students. We have some exceptional artists at our school!
