From the Principal's Desk...

Dear Parents and Caregivers

Exciting Times...

We had a beautiful MacKillop Liturgy last week. Thank you to the Mackillop staff for organising and the MacKillop students and staff who lead the liturgy. Our Italian Assembly was Bravissimo! Thanks again, Signora McCulloch and well done to all our students! Our Liturgical Dancers were amazing at the Performing Arts Festival last week. So many talented students and staff at St Helena's Catholic Primary School!

Wishing our Wakakirri dancers all the best as they make final preparations for their Performance on Tuesday 19 Augustat His Majesty's Theatre.

Also to our Choir, all the best at the Performing Arts Festival next week when performing on Wednesday 20 August.

Several classes are enjoying participating in excursions, and a high five to our staff who plan, coordinate and take the students on these extra-curricular activities. Thanks too, to the parents and caregivers who put their hand up to assist.

I would like to remind our school community of the importance of regular student attendance, as well as the importance of getting to school on time and the students being ready for the day, so that we can make the most of our teaching and learning time at St Helena's. It is great to see this improving across more of our families! Thanks for your cooperation and support as part of our home/school partnership and support of your child/ren's learning journey.

Science Week

The students have been enjoying Science Week this week with activities throughout lunch times, which have been organised and coordinated by Mrs Jess Parker and Mrs Katie Bogdanich. Thank you, Jess and Katie!
