Student of the Month

As part of our acknowledgement of students who are representing our College Values, we will be presenting Student of the Month awards to students we believe have best represented the values during each month.

7A- Tayshaun Campbell

"For consistently engaging in class, demonstrating a positive attitude to learning, applying knowledge, and being friendly and supportive towards classmates."

7B- Gowree Gowreenandana

"Gowree shows respect for her learning by listening carefully, following instructions, and approaching class activities with maturity. She also shows respect for others by being kind, patient, and inclusive, and by treating both staff and classmates with courtesy at all times. Gowree’s respectful attitude makes her a valued member of the class community and sets a strong example for those around her."

7C- Zakayla Hernandez Aonga

"Zakayla is a positive and  active member of our class. She always gets involved in class discussions and volunteers for different support jobs. She tries her hardest at every task and supports others to do the same."

 

7D- Muhammad Kelil

"Muhammad has consistently represented our college values of Respect and Achievement in English. Throughout the unit, he has been a positive member of the class, consistently showing respect for his peers and staff. He always strives to complete his work to a high standard and is very receptive to teacher feedback to improve."  

7E- Ansh Jannapureddy

"Ansh consistently participates in her classes with enthusiasm. Not only that, she regularly joins school activities as well. Thank you for showing enthusiasm and taking pride in your learning at school."

7F- Ayana Gugnani

"Ayana consistently demonstrates a high level of achievement both in the classroom and beyond. She actively engages in all learning activities, supports her peers to develop understanding, and challenges herself to deepen her knowledge. Ayana shows strong aspiration in completing tasks to a high standard and consistently puts her best effort forward."

7G- Japleen Gill

"Japleen consistently demonstrates respect towards peers and teachers, showing kindness, positive behaviour, and  supportive attitude in classroom interactions." 

7H- Angel Mehta

"Angel consistently demonstrates our college values of Aspiration and Achievement in English. She always strives to complete her work to a high standard and takes pride in her learning. Her dedication and effort are a fantastic example to others in the class. Great work!"

 

7I- Kavanjot Kaur

"Kavanjot has shown remarkable maturity during her start to Year 7. She is diligent about making sure to take thorough and detailed notes in classes, and she is also conscientious about using her Student Planner to write down important dates and events. Kavanjot is always kind and respectful in her interactions with her peers and teachers."

7J- Devaagya Puri

"Dev has been respectful in class this month by consistently listening to others, following instructions, and speaking politely to both peers and teachers."

 

7K- Huda Tariq

"For always giving every class 100% of her effort."

7L- Jay Chandi

"Jay has adjusted very well to secondary school. Jay always shows kindness and respect to his peers and teachers and is a role model student. In HAPE, Jay is determined to achieve his personal best and always gives 110%."

7M- Sahar Wahid

"I am proud to nominate Sahar as the Student of the Month for March for her outstanding aspiration and positive contribution to 7M. She demonstrated strong initiative by taking part in the leadership election, representing the school values with integrity. On top of that, Sahar consistently sets a positive example through her commitment to learning. She arrives to class on time, remains proactive, and approaches challenges with determination, even when tasks are difficult."

8A- Afnan Kelil

"Afnan demonstrates strong acceptance in our Humanities classroom. She shows courage in contributing to discussions about real-world events and is always open to sharing and hearing different perspectives. She approaches these conversations with respect and thoughtfulness, setting a positive example for others and helping create a classroom where everyone feels safe to participate."

8B- Rafsan Alam

"Rafsan shows strong aspiration in our Humanities classroom. He tries his best in every lesson and doesn’t give up when what we're learning is new or a bit challenging. He has a really positive attitude and is always looking to improve. Rafsan takes his learning seriously and sets a great example for his peers in how to stay focused and keep working hard.    

Rafsan has made a great start to Term 1 English! He ensures that he is completing classwork and tasks correctly by asking questions and having a go. Rafsan also priortises his learning and takes pride in his note-taking during class time. Well done and keep up the great work Rafsan!"

8C- Sohum Sahni

"Sohum has consistently been an attentive learner in class. The student fulfils their responsibilities as a learner and classmate by completing each task to the best of their ability and supporting others in their learning. Sohum demonstrates respect and politeness both in and out of the classroom."

 

8D- Michelle Thener

"Michelle has demonstrated a respectful and positive attitude throughout the term in Chinese lessons, consistently treating others with kindness. She has shown a strong work ethic by actively asking questions and staying engaged in all learning tasks. Michelle takes pride in her work, which can be seen in her neat and well-organised notes, and she consistently completes all homework to a very high standard." 

8E- Japneet Kaur

"Japneet is a positive contributor and a motivated learner in Chinese class. This is demonstrated through her active class participation, high standards for learning, and her consistent effort to hone her writing and speaking skills."

8F- Nafeesa Anzar

"For consistently engaging in class discussions and providing her own insight. Nafeesa works hard to improve her understanding and complete work to the highest standard she can.

Always bringing a cheerful attitude and deepening our class discussions with her insights."

 

8G- Tanveer Gill

"Tanveer consistently demonstrates our college values of Aspiration and Achievement by always making strong efforts in Humanities. He works hard to achieve high outcomes and always strives to improve and complete tasks to a high standard. His dedication to his learning is commendable and sets a great example for others. 8H- Maryam Mohammadi

"Maryam constantly demonstrates respect towards both her peers and teachers in her interactions. She adheres to teacher instructions and ensures to use class time efficiently. Well done, Maryam!"

 

8I- Gurneet Dhillon

"Gurneet consistently demonstrates respect in our Humanities classroom. She listens carefully to different perspectives during discussions and responds in a calm, thoughtful, and polite way to both peers and teachers. Her approach reflects the values we have been exploring this term in Civics and Economics, particularly around inclusion, active citizenship, and working respectfully within a community."  

8J - Arshiya Mohammed

"Arshiya has demonstrated outstanding dedication and effort throughout the term. Her commitment to learning, attention to detail, and consistent participation in class have truly set her apart

Arshiya consistently performs at a high level in each art class by answering questions proactively and aiming to produce highly finished drawings for each task. She has proven to be not only a dedicated learner but also a highly motivated self-starter

Arshiya has approached work in humanities with positive attitude and always aspiring to do her best. Great contributor to class discussions and always completes her work to a high standard."

8K- Shynal Narayan

"Shynal is a hard-working student who always shows respect to his teachers, peers, and environment. He demonstrates this by actively listening to others when they are speaking, using respectful language, and helping his classmates when needed."

8L- Aysha Babu Dasthagir

"Aysha consistently demonstrates strong aspiration in her learning. She is always ready to learn, actively engages in all class tasks, and approaches her work with dedication. She completes all classwork to the best of her ability and shows a genuine commitment to improving her skills and understanding."

 

9A- Salina Syoum Amanuel

"Salina has consistently met classroom expectations and engaged in all learning tasks. She has also contributed to her classmates’ learning by supporting them to succeed in character design."

9B- Hala Baltaji

"Hala is a diligent and responsible student who actively participates in the classroom. She takes initiative to write reminders on the student notice board, contributes to the morning bulletin, and consistently demonstrates a positive attitude toward her learning.  She is a dedicated student who consistently puts effort into improving her skills and doing her best in each cooking lesson. She is confident in asking questions and seeking support to ensure she understands the recipe and techniques being taught."

9C- Maahir Singh Saini

9D- Kennedy Niyongabo

"I would like to nominate Kennedy for consistently demonstrating the College Value of Respect in our kitchen classroom. He shows respect towards his teachers and classmates, follows instructions carefully and contributes positively to the cooking environment. He is considerate of others and willing to help when needed." 

9E- Ryan Sehgal

"Ryan worked hard on his assessment and actively engaged with the class. During the activity, he supported other students in his group and contributed positively to discussions. He completes his work efficiently and confidently shares his ideas with both peers and the teacher."

 

9F- Supriya Pathak

"Supriya demonstrates Aspiration through her dedication, active participation in class, and involvement in school events like Harmony Day, inspiring her peers with her ambition and commitment to growth."

9G- Huzaifa Mohammed

"Huzaifa demonstrates a positive attitude toward his learning and contributes constructively in the classroom. He completes his work to the best of his ability and remains focused during class most of the time."

9H- Pardeep Gill

"Pardeep showed Aspiration and Achievement in science by catching up on work she missed during the beginning of term 1. She achieved a high 'At level' result in her Human Systems Test and actively seeked specific feedback from the teacher on where she could improve. Pardeep always completes her work to a high standard, contributes to class discussions and engages positively with others. Super effort, well done!" 

9I- Ismat Mussa

"Ismat consistently shows all school values, particularly Achievement. She reliably demonstrates dedication by completing her work in Laws and Outlaws to a high standard, actively participating in class discussions, and genuinely caring about earning high marks. Great work!"  

 

9J - Zainab Mohammadi
