Principal's Message
Dear Families, Students and Community Members,
As we end the term, it is an opportunity for students to reflect on the progress they have made in Term 1 and recognise areas for improvement as we move forward into Term 2. Students are encouraged to take the time to reflect on their improvements they have made, and consider the opportunities for growth.
Over our final two days, over 70% of families have attended our parent teacher interviews to seek feedback on their child’s progress directly from teachers. We encourage all families over the break to continue the conversations and discuss areas for improvement.

Following the election process for school council, the following members of our community have now been confirmed as our school councillors for 2026:

Annual privacy reminder for our school community
Our school collects and uses student and parent personal information for standard school functions or where permitted by law, as stated in the Schools’ privacy policy and the Schools’ privacy collection notice.
Our Photographing, Filming and Recording Students policy Policies | Brinbeal Secondary College, Tarneit, describes how we collect and use photographs, video and recordings of students. The policy also explains when parent consent is required and how it can be provided and withdrawn.
We ask parents to also review the guidance we provide on how we use Microsoft 365 safely at the school and what parents can do to further protect their child’s information. If after reviewing the guidance, you have any questions or concerns regarding your child using Microsoft 365, please contact the school.
