FLECS Trip to Ti Tree

This week, a group of our students and staff headed to Ti Tree Primary School for our annual FLECS program (Foster relationships, Lead and learn, Exchange ideas, develop greater Cultural awareness, and Serve others). 

This is our 4th year bringing hands-on Science experiments and classroom activities to the students, that go above and beyond the school's day-to-day curriculum. 

Beyond being an amazing cultural exchange, many of our senior students are using this trip to count toward their Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh awards.

Students focused on Chemistry on Tuesday including the pop test, egg and invisible gases and putting out a candle with gas. 

Culture and sport were also included! More photos and information will be included in the first newsletter next term.
