Stage 1 Food and Hospitality Bake Off

Our Stage 1 Food and Hospitality students recently completed their Bake Off–inspired Celebration Cake Showstopper Challenge.

Working collaboratively, students designed and created a budget-friendly one or two-tier celebration cake for a specific occasion and target audience. 

The finished cakes showcased the students’ creativity, careful planning and developing cake-decorating skills.

A special thank you to our guest judges, who generously gave their time to sample the cakes and provide valuable feedback to the students. Their involvement made the experience feel like a true Bake Off challenge!

We would also like to thank Lily Widya-Astuti from Lily’s Cakes for visiting the class as a guest speaker and generously sharing her knowledge, skills and expertise in cake decorating with our students.
