Grade 4

Literacy

In Literacy, students have continued reading Storm Boy, a timeless 1964 Australian children's novella written by Colin Thiele. They have been planning and writing an information report on the Coorong, the protected wetland region in South Australia and the setting of Storm Boy. 

Numeracy

In Numeracy, we have begun to explore fractions, including recognising equivalent fractions, comparing fractions and ordering them from least to greatest. Students will continue to develop their understanding of fractions over the coming fortnight. 

Grade 4 Sport

Grade 4 students have started to participate in fortnightly year level sport, where volleyball, cricket, kickball, tennis and basketball skills are developed and fine-tuned.
