STEM

In Term 2, students completed their Design and Technology unit, engaging in hands-on learning experiences that encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.

Students in Grades 3 and 4 proudly showcased their creative board game designs, celebrating their ideas and effort. Meanwhile, Grades 5 and 6 students brought their designs to life by creating and 3D printing their projects, demonstrating impressive innovation and technical skills.

This term, Grade 1 to 6 students across the school have been actively engaging in coding and developing important problem-solving skills. Students in Grades 1 to 4 have been learning the basics of coding through Code.org. Through fun and interactive activities, they are beginning to understand how to break down problems, follow sequences, and think logically to create simple programs. It has been fantastic to see their confidence grow as they explore the foundations of coding.

Grades 5 and 6 students have been working with Scratch to further develop their coding skills. They have been exploring a variety of online projects, including games and animations, to gather ideas and inspiration. This has helped them plan what they would like to create, and we are excited to see their creativity come to life as they begin designing their own projects in the coming weeks.
