Faith

Year 9 Mass

Working with staff members like Mr Chris Brennan is always refreshing because he lives out his faith in his everyday actions. Thank you, Mr Brennan, for preparing the Year 9 students as we all gathered for the Year 9 Term 3 Mass. Our commentator, Max Rees, explained to his peers the importance of remembering the beheading of St John the Baptist. John stood for what was right, even if he got into trouble. This linked beautifully with our focus to be a good Christian, loving others as Jesus did. Thank you to all students who had a role to play in this special Mass, especially Mr Brennan’s 9.5 PCG. What an amazing group of dedicated and faith-filled young men. It was also wonderful to see so many parents supporting their sons and joining us for morning tea after Mass.

Friday Community Mass

Another lovely turnout at our 8:00am Mass this week.  A special thank you to our readers from 7.1 and 7.2 for hosting today’s Mass and to Ms Marocchi and the Year 7 PCG teachers and cohort who will be hosting the Masses over the next few weeks. We love seeing our regulars also attending. Please remember that everyone is welcome to attend our Friday morning Mass. Thank you and God bless!

2024 Cadre and Peer Ministers

Congratulations to all 29 x Year 11 students who have been selected as Cadre Leaders and to the 63 x Year 10 students who will serve as the Year 11 Peer Minsters for the 2024 Quest Retreat. The training sessions have been emailed to all parents, and SEQTA messaged to all students involved.  We sincerely thank all parents and students for taking on this Christian leadership journey at TC.
