Mercedes vs. Trinity McGrath Prefect Netball Match

The Mercedes vs. Trinity McGrath Day Netball match had us all hooked! 

Despite the Mercedes Prefects' lead, TC's astounding second-half comeback, powered by Kaleb Rodriguez's inspirational final quarter, led them to a thrilling 2-point victory! Hats off to the gracious Mercedes Prefects and a huge thanks to the staff and students who donned pink to show support. Beyond the score, we championed an amazing cause - all proceeds from the Prefects' fundraising are dedicated to the McGrath Foundation. 

Sports Science Student's Learn from the Best!

Year 10 students doing the Sports Science elective course have been very fortunate to have benefitted from the teachings and expertise of Martial Arts instructor Rocco Capolingua. 

Prior to working with our students this term, Rocco recently returned from England as the newly crowned World Champion in Taekwondo. 

Rocco, who is the Director at ATI Martial Arts Joondalup, and a 6th Dan Black Belt, worked with the boys over 6 weeks as students studying the course are interested in learning what it takes to make the elite level in their chosen sport. More specifically, Rocco has focused on developing the boys’ skills in self-defence skills and enhanced their technique through improved power and maintaining muscular endurance. 

PSA Athletics Inters

The PSA Athletics Inters will be held next Friday, 8 September 2023. The students have been busy preparing for this carnival through their training sessions over the last three weeks, as well as the Tri-Meet that is on tonight. The final squad will be chosen from all the results recorded over the season and will hopefully be finalised by Tuesday, 5 September. Parents and supporters are encouraged to come and support the students throughout the carnival day at the WA Athletics Stadium.
