Five Minutes with Ms Grant

What is your favourite movie? 

I do love 50 First Dates and Music & Lyrics.

What is your favourite music?

I really love Beyoncé and Mariah Carey — old school divas and big ballad singers.

What is your ideal way to unwind and relax?

A good movie, time with my cat and catching up with my sister or a friend — and of course, just being in pyjamas.

What is your role at the school? 

I am a Careers and Pathways Practitioner and I also teach French.

What skill would you like to master? 

I would like to learn embroidery. I’ve never done it and I’d like to try.

What would you sing at karaoke night?

Probably something by the Spice Girls, Queen or Fleetwood Mac.

When you were little, what did you aspire to be?

I’ve always wanted to be a teacher or a writer.

Who would you like to swap places with for a day?

Someone who lives in a remote place like the Amazon rainforest, with a very different climate, just so I can see what it’s like. Or a lion rescue worker so I can cuddle lions and pet them. Or Drew Barrymore.
