Further information about parent helpers for the event will be sent in a separate communication soon.

To celebrate, students are invited to enter the BPPS colouring competition. Entries will be displayed around the school.

We look forward to seeing lots of colourful entries and a fantastic Ride 2 School Day!

Walk and Wheel to School Wednesdays will continue throughout the year! Starting the day with a walk, bike ride, or scooter trip to school provides a range of benefits. Not only do students arrive feeling energized and ready to learn, but it also supports their physical and emotional well-being. With the warmer weather and increased UV-levels, it's important to remember to be Sun Smart when out and about.

Walking or wheeling to school can be a fun social activity, an opportunity for students to connect with friends and even make new ones along the way. Plus, fewer car trips mean less traffic congestion around the school and a positive impact on our environment.

And remember—walking or wheeling to school isn’t just for Wednesdays! Every day can be a walk and wheel day.

Kind regards,

Heidi Roast and Bella O’Hoy
