Senior School Report 

Another huge start to the term in Senior School

Year 11 students dove into their unit two work and undertook course counselling and subject selection for Year 12. Some Year 11 VM students will need to select another VET course or SBAT to do next year and will have meetings with Toula Adamopoulos in the next couple of weeks to organise this. 

Planning has begun for end of year activities and next year's study day camp and team building activities to help transition 2026 Year 11s into 2027 school leaders.

School jacket design for next year is well underway led by our Yr 11 SRC. Students will soon vote for their favourite design and will try on sizes in IMPACT sessions before messages will go out on Compass for students to pay for their order. Jackets should arrive in the first few weeks of next year so that students get maximum wear and value from their purchase. 

Year 12 students have been completing mountains of work, assessments, afterschool SACs and completing work for SATs, with lots more to follow. The Senior School is buzzing at recess and lunch with laughter and discussion, study, shared food and celebrations of 18th birthdays. 

It is open day season for Tertiary institutions and messages have gone out on Compass with links to dates and details. Course counselling has been undertaken in IMPACT sessions and VTAC and SEAS applications have opened. Latrobe University also attended the school to explain their entry processes.

Specific to Yr 12

1. Pyjama day dress up and fundraiser (Year12) more info coming soon
2. Elevate study skills session Week 7 in IMPACT
3. Exam prep sessions with Connect Ed will run for some subjects
4. Last day of term is the English practice exam- Year 12 scored VCE students will only attend for the exam time- further information about this will follow.
