Well done to all the Junior Students starting this term with real positivity and enthusiasm!!!
There has been plenty happening so far this term, including Digital Thumbprint – Cyber Security sessions for all students. These sessions included students learning to create secure passwords and spot signs of online scams and risks.
IMPACT sessions have been spent learning about racism, setting Semester 2 goals and making subject selections for 2027 (Year 8).

Year 7 Chinese students attended Chinatown to learn more about Chinese language, culture and food. Students had a great day eating and embracing Chinese culture.
In Humanities classes, Year 7 students have been making submissions (poems, artwork and posters) considering the life and service of Bruce Kingsbury VC. On 18 August, we will hold our annual Bruce Kingsbury joint assembly with Kingsbury Primary School, recognising the schools' ongoing partnership with the 2/14th Battalion Association, which was the unit Bruce served with.
RAISE mentoring has been ongoing, with students continuing to build strong relationships with their mentors and developing new skills and confidence.
Maths – Probability and Fractions Pizza Party was a highlight for Year 7 students as they celebrated their fractions unit and enjoyed a slice with their peers and maths teachers. A huge thanks to Ms Kaur, Mr Stewart and Mr Pesavento.
Upcoming events include interschool sports, the RHS Talent Show, Gameshow incursions in IMPACT, and the much-anticipated Victoria Police versus Reservoir High School Community Basketball Game.

Parents are invited this term to complete the Parent Attitudes to School Survey. Ms Purches will communicate the link through Compass in the coming days.
