YEAR 9 DUKE OF EDINBURGH ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY

🌊🏕️Wilsons Promontory 

From 2–5 December, 14 of our Year 9 students took part in a 3-night Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey at the breathtaking Wilsons Promontory. The experience included a 2-night hike through stunning coastal landscapes, camping under the stars, and an exciting surf lesson to round out the adventure.

Day 1 was spent at the beautiful Tidal River, where students enjoyed sunshine, water activities and plenty of laughter – the perfect start to an unforgettable journey 😄☀️💦

On Day 2, students headed to Norman’s Bay for a surf lesson with Offshore Surf School. The session was an amazing experience, building confidence, teamwork and resilience, with plenty of smiles both in and out of the water 🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️🌊

A fantastic adventure showcasing teamwork, perseverance and the spirit of the Duke of Edinburgh Award!
