🚀🎓 Future Ready: Skills for Tomorrow
From Monday 8 December to Wednesday 10 December, Year 9 and 10 students took part in the Microcredential Program.
The aim of the program was to provide students with opportunities to build and enhance their employability skills through a range of microcredentials, supporting pathways into the workforce for next year and beyond.
Program highlights included:
- 🎓 Deakin University Visit – Students toured the campus and gained insight into university life through a presentation by Deakin staff.
- 🚑 First Aid & Party Ready Program (St John Ambulance Australia) – Students developed practical skills including CPR, mental health first aid and responding to medical emergencies.
- 🔮 Future You Program (Yarra Ranges Tech School) – Students explored identity, inclusivity and self-expression while building transferable skills for future careers.
