PARENT/CARER INFORMATION

Parent Contributions 2026
Lilydale High School is proud to offer a wide range of high-quality curricular and extra-curricular programs designed to support the learning, wellbeing and interests of our students.
Schools provide students with free instruction to meet standard curriculum requirements, and we would like to reassure families that all parent contributions are voluntary.

2026 Course Fees
The 2026 course fees will be available through the Parent Payment Centre on Compass in late January.
If you wish to set up a payment plan for your student’s subject fees, please contact the Finance Team via email at

Please find attached a list of subjects that incur fees.
Travel Free – Youth myki
From 1 January 2026, public transport will be free for children under 18!
To access free travel, students will need a Youth myki. The Youth myki card is available for a one-off cost of $5 (card purchase only). No ongoing travel costs apply once the card is registered.
Parents are encouraged to register for a Youth myki using the link below:
Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) are an active commitment by organisations to Reconciliation. In 2026, Lilydale High School will develop its first RAP.
The RAP working party will include students, school staff, and community members. If you would like to be part of the working party to help shape our school’s RAP, please contact Melissa McMillan at the school.
For more information on school-specific Reconciliation Action Plans, please see below.
2026 Booklists
2026 Booklists are available on the school website homepage, under Our School.
Chromebook Program
The Lilydale High School Chromebook program is separated into two phases:
Phase 1 Year 7 to 9 Chromebook Pgm
Phase 2 Year 10 to 12 Chrome/Notebook Pgm
Purchasing a new device in Year 7 and then again in Year 10 ensures students have a reliable and up-to-date device to support their learning.
2025 Salamander – Year Book
If you are yet to purchase the 2025 edition of the Year Book – Salamander, a limited number of copies are still available for $25 at the school office or via the Compass app.
The Salamander Year Book fee can be found in Compass under 2025 Parent Contributions in the Payments Centre.
