Music

Marimba Group students had a fantastic time at Marimba Mania on November 7th. They joined more than 250 other primary school students from across Southern Tasmania at Margate Primary School. We played 10 songs which we have been rehearsing in our own schools throughout the year. All the students were focussed, supported each other and played wonderfully. We even stopped off at the Margate Train for a treat afterwards. 

Meanwhile in class music, different classes have been working on Blues music, beatboxing, and exploring music written by a local composer based on the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac. The choir has been preparing some Christmas carols for the end of year celebrations which we are looking forward to sharing with you.
