Grade 4 Myrtle Camp – Blue Lagoon
This week, Year 4 travelled to Blue Lagoon Camp in Dodges Ferry for an overnight adventure. We were lucky enough to take part in a wide range of activities, including rock climbing, the giant swing, team-building challenges, archery, and a beach discovery walk. The beautiful weather allowed us to make the most of the outdoor facilities, spend quality time with friends, and work together in fun and supportive ways.
It was a wonderful way to finish our year together in Grade 4.
Here are a few student highlights from the trip…
Day 1 - Wednesday
- Rosie – If you get to come here, you might enjoy the giant swing as it is so fun and a great life experience.
- Cooper – I enjoyed rock climbing because it was fun, challenging, and we had so many walls to climb.
- Liam – I really enjoyed the obstacle course because we got to experience working as a team.
- Matilda – I really enjoyed the obstacle course and the giant swing because they were really fun.
- Toby – I loved doing the giant swing because it was fast and tall.
Day 2 - Thursday
- Aidan – I really enjoyed archery as it was something new and exciting. I also got a bullseye!
- Daisy – I really liked the giant swing because even though I was nervous, I still had a go because I am brave.
- Jade – I liked doing archery as I got to learn how to shoot arrows with a bow.
- Eleanor – I enjoyed doing the teamwork activities because they were fun and we got to do lots of challenges.
- Audrey – I enjoyed the giant swing. It was scary at first, but after doing it I wanted to do it again.
- Grace – My favourite was the beach discovery because it was so beautiful and calm.
