Message from Nigel Ross
Acting Assistant Principal
We wanted to let you know that we will soon be moving from Sentral to Compass as our main school platform.
This is a change we have been carefully considering, as it will help us reduce our reliance on email and make communication more consistent and easier to manage. Compass is used by many schools and brings everything into one place for families.
Through Compass, you’ll be able to access school updates via the Newsfeed, make online payments and provide consent for excursions, along with viewing attendance and other important information.
We understand that moving to a new system can feel like a big shift and some families may need support. We will be sharing simple guides and running support sessions to help you get set up and confident using the platform.
Our goal is to have Compass up and running by Term 3. In the meantime, we will continue to communicate as usual throughout this term and keep you updated along the way.
Thank you for your support as we make this transition - we are confident it will make things simpler and more accessible for everyone.
Student Support Group (SSG) meetings are a valuable opportunity for families and staff to come together to support each student’s learning, wellbeing and goals.
We know how important family involvement is, and your input plays a key role in shaping meaningful and relevant learning plans for your child.
In response to community feedback, we have increased the frequency of SSG meetings to once each term, providing more regular opportunities to connect, review progress, and plan next steps together.
We look forward to seeing you at our SSG meetings later this term.
As always, if you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
