Harmony Day Highlights!
Our Greenwith students had so much fun celebrating what makes us unique!
306 joined hands, made wristbands, and sang a sea-themed song. 309 crafted beautiful crowns and Earth artworks, while 401 created colourful handprints holding hearts. 409 designed a stunning display and backdrop, and 410 brought their vibrant Earth artworks to life on the “Amazing Work” wall. It was wonderful to see so much pride, creativity and joy as our students shared such an important message about diversity and community.
Dance Workshop Fun at School!
Today we were lucky to have Ezra from Dance Curriculum visit our school to run dance workshops for all students. Students had a fantastic time getting active, learning new moves, and expressing themselves through dance. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, creativity, and big smiles across all year levels!
Foundation Sensory Play
Our Foundation students recently enjoyed a range of sensory play experiences as part of their learning. Activities included colourful ice play, ice cream slime, playdough eggs, spaghetti and sauce, and iced tea with fresh fruit. Students also had the option of squishy burger play for a texture-free alternative. It was fantastic to see students engaged, having fun, and exploring different textures in a hands-on way. A wonderful learning experience enjoyed by all!
Learning to Recycle the Right Way!
Students in our 401 (Years 3/4) class took part in a hands-on recycling activity, working in teams to sort everyday items into the correct bins. The goal was to build strong recycling knowledge that can be shared across the school. These students are now becoming our recycling “experts” and will help teach younger classes how to recycle correctly. A big thank you to Sonia, our resource teacher, who helped run and support the activity. Great teamwork and learning in action!
