Our mission:

Our Activation Strategy is organised into three core areas:
1. Foundational Competency Development
- Building Basics: Literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning are prioritised to provide every child with a firm foundation and the confidence to explore more complex ideas.
- Step by Step Approach: Through systematic and explicit teaching informed by research, students master fundamental skills that are the basis for all future learning.
Curriculum Integration: Critical thinking, school values, and collaborative teamwork are embedded throughout, allowing students to apply their knowledge across subjects and settings.
2. Authentic Professional Agency
- Empowering Educators: Our teachers are recognised as designers of learning, valued for their expertise, collaboration, and creativity.
- Culture of Collaboration: Staff work within an environment of trust and shared professional growth, ensuring teaching practice is responsive to student needs.
Inspiring Ownership: Teachers lead by example, inspiring both professional and student agency so learners take ownership of their education.

As part of the Deep community engagement and connection domain of our Activation Strategy, we’d love to continue strengthening the relationships that make our school special.
We warmly invite families and community members to drop in and leave a business card at the front office. We’ll proudly display these on our noticeboard outside reception, helping to promote and celebrate the amazing local businesses that support our school community.
