đ§ș A Very Special Teddy Bearsâ Picnic
Our Defence Mentor, Deb, recently hosted a delightful Teddy Bearsâ Picnic in the Defence Classroom for our Defence students.
Â
Students enjoyed a fun and creative experience as they made their own âteacupâ treats using marshmallows, biscuits and lolliesâperfect to share alongside their teddy bears.
Â
Following their picnic creations, the children spent time connecting and enjoying a range of activities including chess, foosball and drawing, all while making sure their teddy bears were very well looked after!
Â
This special event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to relax, connect and enjoy time together in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Â
Â
Congratulations, Ayla
As part of the Defence Schools Mentor program partnered with Port Adelaide football Community Program selected Defence students  are given the unique opportunity to represent their school in a very special way.
Â
This year, we are incredibly proud to share that Ayla S has been chosen to be involved in the  Guard of Honour at the ANZAC Round AFL match between Port Adelaide and Geelong.
Â
This is a wonderful honour and a meaningful experience, recognising both service and community. Ayala will represent our school alongside other Defence students in a moment that reflects respect, pride, and remembrance.
Â
That's a wrap on Defence News Update from Deb Thompson!
