NUNGA NEWS

Our First Nations students participated in a Bush Tucker incursion, where they explored native plants and learned how these were traditionally used in cooking.
Working collaboratively, students baked a variety of foods including wattle seed damper, saltbush damper, native herb damper, lemon myrtle cupcakes and lemon myrtle biscuits.
In the afternoon, families and friends joined us to share a meal and learn more about Bush Tucker, making it a meaningful and engaging cultural experience for our whole community.
