Science Club  

This term, the Science Faculty was excited to offer our students the opportunity to participate in Science Club, with weekly sessions designed to encourage curiosity, creativity and a love of science. 

Each week, students had the opportunity to participate in a range of hands-on experiments and activities in a safe and supportive laboratory environment, with guidance and supervision from members of the Science Faculty team. 

Throughout the term, students explored a variety of exciting activities, including the Elephant Toothpaste experiment, POP tests, investigating the reaction between magnesium and hydrochloric acid, and creating edible animal cells using treats. These activities allowed students to explore scientific concepts in an engaging and practical way while developing their confidence, teamwork, problem-solving and scientific skills. 

It has been wonderful to see our students being creative, enthusiastic, curious and actively engaged during each session. Science Club has provided students with an opportunity to learn beyond the classroom, work collaboratively with their peers and develop a stronger sense of connection and belonging within our school community. 

We are excited to continue building a positive sense of belonging and providing our students with opportunities to explore, create and enjoy science together!
