Principal's Address

As Term 3 draws to a close, it is wonderful to reflect on the achievements and memorable experiences we've shared as a school community. This week’s Graduation Ceremony and Formal was truly a highlight, celebrating not only the academic milestones of our graduating students, but also their personal growth and contributions to our school. As our graduates now turn their focus to preparing for their upcoming HSC exams, I want to wish each of them the very best. Your dedication and hard work in this important period will help pave the way for your future success, and we are all here to support you every step of the journey. Congratulations to our graduating class of 2026.

I am also delighted to acknowledge two of our students, Jade C and Zachary K, who have been nominated for Encore and Shape respectively. Encore is a prestigious program that recognises outstanding performance in music and the arts, while SHAPE is an initiative focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), designed to nurture creativity and problem-solving skills among high-achieving students. We are very proud of Jade and Zachary for their exceptional achievements and representation of our school.

In addition to celebrating student success, we continue to strengthen our partnerships with our local primary schools. Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Cecil Hill Public School, where 10 high school staff engaged in meaningful conversations and collaborative activities to support smooth transitions and ongoing educational development for our students. These connections are vital in fostering a seamless learning journey from primary to secondary education.

As the holidays approach, I wish everyone in our school community a safe and restful break. I look forward to welcoming our students, staff, and families back, refreshed and ready to work together again in Term 4.
