Excursions & Camps - The importance of due dates

We are fortunate that we can provide our students with a range of learning opportunities outside of the classroom through our camps and excursions program. All camps and excursions require a significant amount of organisation, planning and communicating with external organisations (transport, venues, Department of Education, etc).
We try to provide families with as much notice as possible for upcoming camps/excursions so that families have sufficient time to plan for payment and consent. Once the due date has passed, we need to communicate final numbers to the venue, organise transport and arrange staffing within the Department of Education’s requirements, etc.
For these reasons, if consent/payment/medical information is not received by the due date, students will not be able to attend the camp/excursion.
If a family's circumstances prevent them from providing consent/payment/medical information by the due date, we encourage them to contact the office prior to the due date. We are happy to work with families to support students attending camps and excursions, however, we need to do this before the camp/excursion event closes on Compass.
We thank you for your support.
