Year 9 SELF - Careers Expo, Wednesday 25th of June

In Term 2, the Year 9's learnt about careers. We were set a task to pick a career and create a stall about it. We had four lessons to plan, working together in groups.  We put in some hard work and set up our stalls, then the Year 7 and 8 students came around and won prizes, played games and learnt about the different jobs people were wanting to share.  My stall was about veterinarians; I had created a game of guess the animal - many students engaged in the activity and won a Mentos. There were many Year 9's giving out prizes, including lollies, homemade gifts, cupcakes and brownies.
