1st Place - Monty South - 388 points

2nd Place - MPS - 356 points

3rd Place - Holy Trinity - 224 points

4th Place - SFX - 196 points

5th Place - Sherbourne - 50 points

6th Place - Briar Hill - 44 points

7th Place - Lower Plenty - 42 points

The Victorian Interschool Snowsports Championships

Jessie and Sophie McNiel from MPS participated in the Victorian Interschool Snowsports Championships.

Approximately 220 schools participated and there were 6,000 race entries during the week. Jessie’s division had approximately 150 competitors and Sophie’s close to 200.

All the schools paraded through for the opening ceremony and they were lucky enough to get a front row spot to a spectacular fireworks display.

The National championships are in a few weeks where the top individuals and teams from each event will line up against competitors from the other states.

Congratulations girls. This is the first time MPS has been put on the map in snow sports!
