Student of the Week

Thomas Ryall - Thomas, we are so lucky to have you as part of Foundation B! You bring so much kindness, curiosity and joy to our classroom each day. I have loved seeing you connect with your friends and share your own special ways of making our classroom a happier place. You have learnt and achieved so much during your time at school, and you should be incredibly proud of yourself. You are always curious, ready to learn and excited to discover something new. You set such a wonderful example for your classmates! I am so proud of everything you have achieved and can't wait to see what amazing things are still to come!

Indigo Leverton - We are so proud of the amazing effort you have put into improving your handwriting, Indigo! You have worked hard to carefully form each letter, remembering where to start and how to make each letter look its best. It has been wonderful to see your confidence grow as you practise, and you should be very proud of the progress you have made! You are also becoming such a creative and thoughtful learner. You take great care with the presentation of your work, choosing colours, adding special details and always trying to make your work look its very best. We love seeing your creativity shine through! As a friend, you are caring, kind and always ready to lend a helping hand. We especially love the way you share what you know with others, helping your friends learn new things and encouraging them when something feels tricky. You are always excited to share your ideas and knowledge, and this makes you a wonderful friend and classmate. Keep up the fantastic work, Indigo! Your hard work, creativity and kind heart make you such a special part of our classroom.

Augie Berndt - Augie, what an amazing job you have been doing with your learning! You have made such fantastic progress, and we are so proud of the effort and hard work you put into your learning each day. You are a curious learner who is always ready to ask questions, discover something new and have a go at a tricky challenge. We love seeing you give things a go, even when they don't come easily at first! You also take great care and pride in your work. You know how to slow down, take your time and make sure your work is presented beautifully. One of our favourite things is seeing your face light up when you finish something you are proud of and can't wait to show us. You should be very proud of yourself! As a friend, you are kind, caring and always happy to play with others. You have a wonderful way of making sure everyone feels welcome and included, and you are always ready to share a game or join in with your friends. Keep up the fantastic work, Augie! William Johnson - For being such a thoughtful and helpful friend and sharing your wonderful facts and knowledge with us! We love learning from you!

Jude Thomson - Jude, congratulations on another wonderful week of learning! You have consistently been a role model within the class with the way that you approach tasks and always try your best. You listen carefully to instructions and always take on feedback. Importantly, you also treat others in the school community with respect and kindness.

Natalie Tountzis - Natalie you come to school with a positive, ready-to-learn attitude and give your best effort in everything you do. You have been working so hard to make your writing even better, and it has been wonderful to see your confidence grow. You keep trying, even when your work is tricky, and that is something to be very proud of. It has also been fantastic to see you always trying your best in maths and giving every challenge a go. Keep up your amazing effort and positive attitude. You should be so proud of all the progress you are making!

Lucy Dux - Well done Lucy, you are always smiling and bring such a positive attitude to our classroom. You are incredibly helpful to your teachers and peers and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Your thoughtful and caring nature makes you a wonderful friend and a fantastic role model for others. We are so lucky to have you in our class!

Ned Metcalfe - Congratulations Ned! You were a superstar chef in the kitchen this week, showing enthusiasm and doing a wonderful job. You have also been actively making great choices in the classroom, staying focused and showing that you are ready to learn. Keep up the fantastic work, Ned!

Levi Lijovic - Levi, you always challenge yourself to do your best and never complain when learning becomes difficult. Instead, you ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully to feedback and use it to grow as a learner. Your resilience, positive attitude and commitment to improving make you a fantastic role model in our classroom.

Lincoln Moroney - For your fantastic focus in class and the effort you are putting into your writing. You have been working hard towards your goal of rereading and editing your work, taking the time to check your sentences and make improvements. It is wonderful to see you taking greater responsibility for your learning and being proud of the work you produce. Keep up the fantastic effort!

Everly Pinkstone - Everly, I have been so impressed with your hard work and determination in maths to learn your times tables. It has been so great to see you answering questions in class with fluency and confidence, and you should be so proud of your efforts. Well done!

Julian Egodagamage - For the enthusiasm and passion for learning you bring to our classroom each day! You are always eager to share your ideas and contribute to our discussions. Keep it up!

Ethan Cesari - For consistently demonstrating leadership qualities in everyday life and bringing a wonderful sense of humour to everything you do.

Charlie Gray - There was plenty of gray around this week… And wasn’t it awesome! Charlie, forget the grey clouds and rain, you constantly bring a smile and enthusiasm to 5S. You have great ideas, think deeply and contribute a lot to our class culture. Keep it up!

Orlando Egodagamage - This week, you have demonstrated fantastic curiosity in your learning, particularly when working with fractions. You have asked thoughtful questions, explored different strategies and shown a willingness to challenge yourself when solving problems.

Eloise O'Neill - Well done on displaying such great courage and curiosity in all of our writing lessons, Eloise! You have become increasingly confident in stepping outside your comfort zone and challenging yourself, even when something feels tricky. You contribute thoughtfully to class discussions, ask for feedback and use it to help you improve. It has been wonderful to see your self-belief and confidence grow throughout the year. Your joyful energy, beautiful manners and positive attitude bring so much to our classroom every day. You should be so proud of yourself - I certainly am! Keep shining, Eloise!

Kitt Izard - For an outstanding descriptive narrative that was entered into the Lily Whitney writing competition. Your story idea, which hides the theme within the words, was exceptional. Kitt, you are a remarkable writer and have a talent beyond your years. It was a pleasure to read. Good luck with your entry!
