Year 11 VCE-VM Parliament House visit

On 15th July students from the Year 11 VCE-VM program visited Victorian Parliament House as part of their program in Personal Development.
Students completed a guided tour and learnt how our Parliament and Government work as well as some of the history of this magnificent building.
Students then headed to Federation Square to hear a presentation from a member of the Koorie Heritage Trust which supports the work they are completed as part of their Literacy class.
They were most interested in the hunting artefacts, possum skin and Marngrook football.
A great opportunity to get out of the classroom to learn about and experience first hand some of things they are covering in class.
