These past weeks the children have been working well together in collaborative games in the classroom and outside. They have enjoyed reenacting the stories told in class such as the Three Billy Goats Gruff and through retelling these stories the children are practicing their listening and speaking skills and memory recall as well as patience taking it in turns.

Last week was the wonderful wildlife encounter incursion. The children really enjoyed learning about some beautiful local Victorian animals: such as the red tailed cockatoo, sugar glider, ringtail possum, shingle back lizard, long necked turtle and python. 

After the experience the children drew pictures of their favourite animal showing some of the animal's features. Many had trouble choosing one as they liked them all!
