Steiner program clarification

In August last year, I notified the community through the Dhumbadjirri that from 2027 we would no longer be taking prep enrolments into the Steiner stream and that all current students would continue their Steiner program until the end of their primary school years.

I am aware of rumours that the Steiner program will cease completely next year, however there is no basis to this, and nothing has changed from what was communicated last year that the program will continue. This is still dependent on student numbers in each year level and a decline in current Steiner enrolments would have an impact on the formation of classes for next year. If you have any further questions or you do hear of something that has not been officially communicated by the school, please get in contact with me at David.Wells@education.vic.gov.au.
