Bonjour !
BPPS's Annual in-house French Poetry Recitation Competition will take place next week. Students will recite their poems in front of their peers who will mark them following criteria set on a rubric. Three finalists from each level will be chosen this way and they will compete in week 9 , September 7-9 to determine 2026 first second and third for each level.
The poems are posted on Seesaw and students have been given wordsheets to take home to practice. Students will be competing against peers in their level only.
Below are links to the poems/songs to practice at home. Some of the poems have been recorded as songs however we will be presenting them as poems only.
In planning week, September 7-9, teachers will adjudicate the finalists.
Prizes comprising of CL&S awards, French certificates, books and stationery will be awarded early in Term 4.
Thank you for your support and participation in this challenging but rewarding event,
looking forward to it,
