INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC

LHS ‘The Voice’

Congratulations to our 5 finalists, Charlie Glenn (Year 7), Lily Condron (Year 7), Jordan Handley (Year 7), Callum Eade (Year 8), and Anais Pacinotti (Year 12).

It was a tough decision for our judges with only a handful of points between all contestants, but Charlie Glenn’s awesome performance of Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Traitor’ saw her take out the top prize.

Charlie wins a trophy and gift card, and her name will be inscribed on the perpetual shield.

Ayla Harnett (joint 2024 Performing Arts captain) also entertained the audience with her Year 7 winning song from 2019, ‘My Heart Will Go On’.

Thank you to all 2024 contestants, staff judges, and audiences, and to our finale panel of judges including our Performing Arts Captains Noah Vincent and Ayla Harnett, last year's winner York Newell, and staff Mr Morgan and Ms Seelig.

A big shout-out also to MC extraordinaire, Tanner Miles.

Encore! 2024

Well done to all students who performed, including Rookie and LHS Bands, Choir, Guitar and Percussion Ensembles, Combined Band, Allusion, R00M2, and ENH.

Congratulations to percussion students Declan Kruize and Tom Jorgensen who received awards for the Home Practice Competition and to our graduating Year 12s who received dedication medals.

It was a wonderful evening, and we appreciate all the efforts of our Instrumental Music students and their teachers.
