Year 8 SEAL Geography

Designed by Nature Biomimicry Program

On Tuesday 15 October, students in 8A and 8B explored the Royal Botanic Gardens to look at sustainability through biomimicry (the design of materials and structures that are modelled from nature).

They took a guided tour, observing different plant species and ecosystems while learning about biomimicry and its potential to create a sustainable future, highlighting the value of learning from nature to address modern challenges.

In groups, the students created their own designs modelled from nature and sustainability.

Year 8 Probability Fair

On Wednesday, 13 November, Year 8 students will be running probability-based games of their own invention as part of their learning task this term for Maths.

Step-Up Program

A reminder that our Step-Up Program commences on Monday 25 November for ALL Year 7 and 8 students.

This is an opportunity for students to meet their new teachers and the students who will be in their classes NEXT year. Furthermore, every subject will start the content for next year!
