Feast of Corpus Christi

As we come to the end of another term, this will be my last Crest entry as Acting Assistant Principal, Mission and Identity. It has been a very busy six months, one that has gone quickly, but has also filled me with much joy. I have enjoyed every moment of my time as a leader of the College and hope that I have done well. As I move back into my curriculum role in the RE faculty I look forward, with much optimism, to what is in store for our great school in coming years.

Australian Catholic Youth Festival

From 30 November to 2 December this year, the Archdiocese of Melbourne is hosting the Australian Catholic Youth Festival. St Patrick’s College would love to send a group of students to the festival. The festival will include a pilgrimage walk from St Patrick’s Cathedral to the festival site at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, presentations by some of the world’s most dynamic speakers, appearances from well known local and international musical acts, and workshops where attendees will ‘choose their own adventure’. Students who wish to attend should email me at mleviston@stpats.vic.edu.au. If enough interest is shown, we will hold information sessions in Term 3.

Thursday lunchtime Mass

With a change in timetable for term three, our weekly Thursday Mass will be moved to 11.25am. Father Eladio is excited about the change and is looking forward to welcoming all people to this weekly celebration of the eucharist.
