Snow Camp

Throughout August, McClelland students had the opportunity to participate in three separate 5 day snow camps to Mt Buller, with three full days of snowboarding on each camp. 

Our Year 11s and 12s attended in Week 4, Years 9 and 10 in Week 5, and our Year 8s in Week 6. Across the three weeks, students experienced a real mix of snow conditions, with each group enjoying days of strong winds, fresh snowfall and beautiful sunny weather. It was fantastic to see students make rapid improvements in their snowboarding skills while also developing important personal and interpersonal skills through the challenges and experience of camping at our school camp, Mahaikah.

A huge thank you to all the staff who contributed to making these camps such a memorable and rewarding recreational experience for our students, providing an opportunity that is unique to McClelland and rarely offered in government schools.
