Fierce competition!

Longest Vortex Throw
Students from all four Houses gathered on the oval for our latest House Challenge which was the Longest Vortex Throw.
With clear skies and school spirit in the air, students from Year 7 to Year 12 had the chance to showcase their strength, skill, and determination in this fun and fast-paced event.
The aim was simple, throw the vortex ball as far as possible. But it wasn’t just about distance, it was about representing your house with pride and encouraging one another with every launch.
Students lined up, vortexes in hand, ready to give it their all. Each House showed incredible support, with cheers echoing across the school as participants launched their vortexes into the air. Some throws soared across the oval, while others proved that laughter and fun were just as important as distance.
Congratulations to Goolagong who took out the top spot with the most points for the day. Honourable mentions go to:
Jeremiah Mataniu and Ammaythius McLaughlin-Timu for their standout efforts and great sportsmanship with a 50 metre throw.
A big thank you to the House Captains, and Student Leaders who helped run the event smoothly.
It was fantastic to see so many students getting involved and embracing the spirit of friendly competition.
We can’t wait to see what the next House Challenge brings.
