Year 7's History update

Year 7 students have started their high school journey off extremely well in History.

After learning about the Ancient Past, Archaeology and sources, they have begun to study Ancient Egypt! You can look forward to your child coming home to tell you all about the Nile River, Pharaohs and the mummification process.

Check out Year 7S who last week did an experiment on mummifying a sausage and then got to practice preparing their classmates for the afterlife by wrapping them as efficiently and quickly as possible in historically accurate toilet paper!

Students in Year 7 will continue to study History for the remainder of the year learning about fantastic topics such as Ancient China, Medieval Europe, The Black Death and Medieval Japan.

We look forward to watching them grow into little historians!
